A weak frontal system

A weak frontal system will progress inland today bringing light precipitation. Drier conditions will prevail on Wednesday.

A weak system will result in unsettled conditions on Thursday. A more intense Pacific low may bring moderate precipitation on Friday tapering to flurries Saturday.

Today..A few flurries.
Snowfall amount 2 cm.
Alpine high minus 3.
Freezing level 800 metres rising to 1400 metres this afternoon.
Mountain top winds south 20 km/h.

Tonight..Mostly cloudy.
Alpine temperature steady near minus 4.
Freezing level lowering to valley bottom.
Mountain top winds light.

Wednesday..A mix of sun and cloud.
Alpine high minus 2.
Freezing level rising to 1400 metres.
Mountain top winds light rising to southeast 30 km/h late.

Thursday.. Mostly cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries.
Freezing level 1000 metres.

Friday.. Periods of snow. Snowfall accumulation 5 cm.
Freezing level 1200 metres.

Saturday.. Cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries.
Freezing level 1200 metres.
