A mix of sun and cloud

Dry conditions are forecast until Saturday evening when a weak upper disturbance brings some light precipitation.

Late Sunday an intense low is forecast to approach the coast and bring snow or rain with wind on Monday. Showery precipitation is expected to linger in the wake of the low on Tuesday.

Tonight..Mainly cloudy. Fog patches overnight.
Alpine low minus 5.
Freezing level lowering to valley bottom.

Saturday..Mainly cloudy. A few flurries in the evening.
Snowfall amount slight.
Alpine temperature steady near minus 5.
Freezing level rising to 1000 metres.
Mountaintop wind light.

Sunday..Mainly cloudy. Light snow beginning late in the evening.
Snowfall amount slight.
Freezing level 1000 metres.

Monday..Snow. Windy.
Snowfall amount 10 to 20 cm.
Freezing level 1200 metres
