Cold then some snoow?

A sustained northerly flow along the eastern flank of a strong arctic ridge will ensure the continuation of cold and dry conditions through Thursday.

Friday some high cloud will herald the arrival of a weak system which is expected to bring flurries Saturday and periods of snow on Sunday.
