Cold front /Snow

A cold front will move across the South Coast today spreading precipitation throughout the region. Precipitation will taper off this evening as the front moves eastward. A ridge of high pressure will build along the coast on Friday giving generally dry conditions.

A slow moving low pressure system is forecast to approach the South Coast on Sunday and Monday bringing precipitation.
A ridge of high pressure build over BC Interior on Tuesday bringing clear skies.

Mountain top winds southwest 20 km/h becoming light and variable late this evening.

Freezing level 1200 metres.
Mountain top winds light and variable.

Sunday.. Snow beginning in the morning.
Snowfall accumulation 25 to 35 cm.
Freezing level at valley bottom.

Monday.. Snow.
Snowfall accumulation 15 to 25 cm.
Freezing level at valley bottom.

Tuesday.. Sunny.
Freezing level at valley bottom.
