Cold air

Arctic high pressure will settle over the BC Interior today. The resulting outflow will push colder drier air over the region.

A ridge of high pressure in the upper atmosphere will build over the BC coast through the later part of the week. The ridge will deflect the storm track to the north and maintain dry conditions. However, the cold air mass will begin to moderate so that temperatures approach normal by Saturday.
