Slowly lowering Freezing level
A cold front extending northeast to southwest through Vancouver Island will move southwards across the South Coast to lie over northwestern Washington State late this evening. A low centre forming off the Oregon Coast early Thursday morning will move northeastward across the Inner South Coast on Thursday afternoon.

The ridge will shift southwards late Friday allowing a weak disturbance to spread flurries to the Whistler region Friday evening and early Saturday morning. On Sunday a frontal system pushing onto the central BC Coast will result in freezing levels rising over the Whistler region and snow changing to rain in the alpine areas.
