Frontal system approaching
A frontal system approaching the South Coast will spread snow to the Whistler region this morning. The front will move through the region by early this evening with a ridge of high pressure building along the coast overnight.
The ridge will weaken on Tuesday morning allowing another system to push onto the South Coast in the afternoon.

5 day trend..Mild air associated with a frontal system crossing the South Coast on Wednesday will produce much higher freezing levels and bring rain to the alpine regions of Whistler. On Thursday the remains of the front will gradually weaken and shift southeastward into Washington State. A ridge of high pressure building over the South Coast on Friday will give generally dry conditions to the region.
