A frontal system along the coast will give snow to the alpine regions today. Rising freezing levels this afternoon will result in snow becoming mixed with rain over lower elevations on the Northshore mountains. The front remains over the South Coast through Thursday giving snow to Whistler with freezing levels remaining high enough to give rain mixed with snow on the Northshore Mountains.
