A strong warm front moving towards the coast will bring significant snowfall amounts to the south coast mountains today.
Freezing levels will rise through the afternoon with snow changing to rain over the northshore mountains this evening. The front will move east of the region overnight. A moist northwesterly flow aloft will bring scattered flurries to the coast on Monday.
