Thursday..Cloudy. Rain developing near midday. Alpine temperature falling to plus 5. Rainfall amounts 5 to 10 mm. Freezing level 3500 metres falling to 2800 metres in the afternoon. Mountain top winds south 20 km/h increasing to 30 gusting to 50 km/h in the afternoon.
5 Day Trend.. A series of frontal systems will move across the region bringing cooler temperatures, periods of rain and windy conditions through the weekend. Freezing levels will have lowered sufficiently by Sunday to allow some of the precipitation to fall as wet snow.
