An Intense Low Pressure System Approaching Vancouver Island This Morning Will Spread Snow Or Rain At Times Heavy To The South Coast Mountains Today Through Saturday Morning. Strong Southerly Winds Gusting Up To 100 Km/H Are Expected Associated With The System.

Today..Snow Heavy At Times. Alpine Temperature Steady Near Minus 4.
Snowfall Accumulation 10 To 15 Cm. Freezing Level Surface. Mountain Top Winds Southeast 20 Km/H Increasing This Morning To 30 To 50 Gusting To 70.
Tonight..Snow Heavy At Times. Alpine Low Minus 5. Snowfall Accumulation 10 To 15 Cm. Freezing Level Surface. Mountain Top Winds Southeast 30 To 50 Km/H Gusting To 70.
Saturday..Snow Ending Late In The Day. Alpine Temperature Steady Near Minus 7. Snowfall Accumulation 5 To 10 Cm. Freezing Level Surface. Mountain Top Winds Southwest 20 Km/H Increasing In The Morning To 40.

Sunday.. Cloudy With A Few Flurries. Snowfall Accumulation 3 To 7 Cm. Freezing Level Surface.
Monday.. Cloudy With Sunny Periods. 60 Percent Chance Of Flurries.

Tuesday.. Snow. Snowfall Accumulation 8 To 14 Cm. Freezing Level Surface.

5 Day Trend..An Upper Trough Of Low Pressure Will Bring Periods Of Snow To South Coast Mountains On Sunday. Northwesterly Flows Aloft Will Give Drier Conditionds On Monday. A Frontal System Will Bring Back Snow And Strong Winds To The Areas Again On Tuesday.
